I've already reported here that The Ditty Bops will be making a stop in St. Louis as part of their 2006 Bicycle Tour. Here's some more details about the event:
The Ditty Bops, along with The Maid Rites, will be performing at 8 p.m. Friday, July 28, at the Mad Art Gallery, 2727 S. 12 St. in St. Louis. Admission to the show is $12. The poster at left (click on it to see a larger version, indicates tickets also will be available through MetroTix, but they weren't as of Wednesday morning.
Aaron Teasdale of the Adventure Cycling Association reports on the OutdoorNewswire that The Ditty Bops, Amanda Barrett and Abby DeWald, will be traveling on the Katy Trail through much of Missouri and then on the new Route 66 Bicycle Trail in Illinois. I would like to ride with them between St. Louis and somewhere to the north, such as Litchfield or Carlinville, Ill., depending on which alignment of Route 66 they take between Livingston and Chatham.
I'll try to keep you posted when I learn more details about the ride.
