Updated bicycle safety video

Earlier today, I posted a vintage bicycle film from 1950. Below is an up-to-date bicycle safety video recently produced by the League of American Bicyclists and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. It's not quite as much fun as the 1950 classic "Bicycle Safety," but it has lots of useful tips for you.

Hi Roger,

Despite being a League of American Bicyclist Cycling Instructor, and therefore supportive of the LAB, I'm afraid I cannot recommend the bike ed. video they've produced. It's not a patch on the tried and trusted "Effective Cycling" video, now available in DVD from Seidler Productions [$44.95 inc. S&H/VHS $34.95]. www.seidlerproductions.com/
tel 850-251-0815/fax 850-962-2225.
A more recent video which nicely complements the above is "Cyclists Eye View" by Chris Quint, available at cost [$10-$15 I believe]. Tel: 562 433-5220. A helmet-mounted video camera was used by one cyclist taping Chris as he demonstrated good on-road cycling practices in Long Beach, CA.
